The Dhillon Hotel Mgmt. & Development Group was founded with what started as a single hotel in the State of Montana. Today, the Dhillon group of companies and it’s partnership has grown to become a driving force in the Northwest Territories of the United States.Throughout the years, Dhillon Hotel Mgmt. & Development Group has had an ownership interest in and operated over 7 hotels with strategic alliances formed with many of the world's largest hotel brands. These include InterContinental Hotels Group, Hilton, and Best Western. Dhillon Hotel Mgmt. & Development Group has a very diversified portfolio ranging from extended stay, limited service, and upscale full-service hotels to mid-market business and large conference hotels to banquet and gaming properties.
Dhillon Hotel Mgmt. & Development Group provides an all-around approach to their real estate acquisitions, due to their extensive development and management services. The company offers land acquisition, land-use planning, architectural design, and construction management services. It also provides hotel operations consulting and management services including fiscal and accounting, sales and marketing, advertising, asset management and valuation services.

Having simplified his name to Raj, Mr. Dhillon brings the same consolidated approach to the complex and extensive areas of asset management and operations. Raj’s multi-faceted experience affords him an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of the retail, operations, valuations, development, redevelopment, management, financing and franchise of the hospitality industry.

Raj Dhillon is considered by many of his peers to be a true entrepreneur whose extensive experience in lodging, hotel land development, redevelopment, retail, customer service, and day-to-day management has successfully built multiple ground-up hotels, which are being owned by Dhillon Hotel Mgmt. & Development Group of Companies and managed today by the full service Dhillon Hotel Management Company. In the capital-intensive hotel industry, it is essential to have an operator who thinks like a developer and an owner. It is this equally shared understanding and focal point of Raj & Gurpreet, residing in Dublin, CA with their three children, that drives their enthusiasm for delivering exceptional products not only for their own children, but for generations to come. The developer side produces these exceptional products which, tomorrow, can still be defined as ground-breaking to the city and community, and the owner side which not only establishes, but manages the pillars of success to ensure objectives are achieved.
Raj Dhillon has created a well-developed network amongst individual investors, institutions, small and large local contractors and businesses, and internationally recognized hotel brands and parent companies that allows a creative approach to their opportunities. When not building on his passion, Raj serves as Vice President of a nationally recognized lodging industry organization known as Independent Lodging Industry Association (ILIA) and having served as secretary of the 7-Eleven Franchisee Owners Association made out of more than 400- 7-Eleven stores in the Greater Bay Area from 2003-2006.

Experienced in hotel operations,improving service levels and new hotel development with IHG, Hilton, Hyatt, Radisson hotels for the past 16 years in different capacity. Hospitality journey started as a family venture in Texas to manage a Holiday Inn Express and then spent 12 years with IHG QA department for all the IHG Brands. Recent experience as Corporate Director of Hotel Operations in San Francisco Bay Area where Rajinder oversaw operations of Hotel Indigo Napa Valley, Holiday Inn SFO, Hampton Inn San Francisco Convention Center, and opened two new build hotels (Hyatt Place Santa Barbara and Virgin Hotel in San Francisco).
